In this article, we will guide you through:

• navigating the extension interface and user dashboard.

The top navigation bar is designed for quick access to your account settings and profile information.

• Account Balance: Indicates the number of standard queries remaining. This balance resets daily for users on the free plan and monthly for users on paid plans. 
• Submit Ticket: Enables you to report issues directly from the extension.
• Settings: Allows you to customize your preferences within the extension.
• My Profile: View and edit your personal profile information.

Before you start using Resala, we recommend adjusting your settings according to your personal needs first.

Appearance

• Dark Mode: Adjust the theme of your Resala extension. Options include:
  
  
• Auto: Automatically applies dark mode based on your system settings.
• On: Enables dark mode at all times.

• Off: Disables dark mode, reverting to the light theme.

Layout

• Docking Mode: Choose the positioning of the Resala sidebar relative to your browser content.

• Extension Sidebar: Determine the side of the screen where the Resala sidebar will appear.
  
  
• Left: 

• Right:

• Extension Icon: Customize the visibility of the Resala extension icon within your browser.
• Float: The icon will float over the webpage content.

• Side: The icon will be integrated into the right sidebar and can be dragged only up and down.

• Hidden: The icon will be hidden from view.

Language Settings

• AI Response Language: Select the language for AI-generated responses within the extension.
• Interface Language: Choose your preferred language for interacting with the extension.

Features

• Quick Action Button: Turn this on to have quick action options (e.g., summarize, paraphrase, improve, etc.) available when any text is selected.

• Image Assistant: Turn this on to allow quick access to AI Image Tools by hovering over any image. The Image Assistant automatically displays options such as extracting text or analyzing image content.

• Quick Reply: Activate this to display a "quick reply" button on the email page, enabling you to respond swiftly to incoming messages.

• YouTube Summary: Activate to show a "Summarize Video" button next to YouTube videos for quick content overviews.

• Reading Summary: Turn on to display a "Resala Summary" button alongside article pages for concise summaries.

• Auto-Correct: Enable this to automatically highlight spelling and grammatical mistakes in text fields.

Social Media and Websites

• Social Media: Enable to receive AI-powered responses on social media platforms.

• Pause Extension: Customize which websites the Resala extension should be inactive on by adding them to the pause list.

Queries

This section allows you to monitor and manage your usage of queries and helps ensure you are making the most efficient use of the resources available to you under your chosen subscription plan.

• Types of Queries
• Standard Queries: These are basic queries that cover general tasks and requests.
• Advanced Queries: These involve more complex operations and data processing tasks, requiring higher resources.
• Image Queries: Specifically used for tasks that involve image processing or any function that needs visual data interpretation.

Each section (Standard, Advanced, Image) shows how many queries you've used and how many are remaining for the day/month.

Pro Features Trial

Pro Features Trial gives you the opportunity to test out premium features. This trial includes a limited number of queries per each action. To continue enjoying these features without interruption, upgrade to a paid plan by clicking "More".

Account & Billing

Account & Billing is your personal space to manage account settings, subscription details, participate in the referral program, and access support resources.

Help

The Help feature is a resource hub providing you with support materials, frequently asked questions (FAQs), and contact details for further assistance. This is your go-to place for any help you may need with the Resala extension.
